Michelle Branch heads up springtime Virgin College MegaTour

Singer Michelle Branch tops the bill of this spring's Virgin College MegaTour, which will also feature Gavin DeGraw , Joe Firstman , Michael Tolcher and Chris Grace.

Sponsored by Virgina Megastores, Dentyne Ice and Dentyne Fire, the run will touch down at college campuses in 18 major markets, including Boston, New York City, Columbus, Chicago, Denver, Salt Lake City, Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Dallas, New Orleans, Orlando and Miami.

The outing is scheduled to kick off in late March and run though early May, but the itinerary has not yet been unveiled.

In addition to musical performances, each stop will feature "a village loaded with interactive activities, promotions and tons of free giveaways and samples," including "movie screenings, an interactive guitar museum and learning center, exclusive invitation-only sound check parties or meet-and-greets with the artists," according to a press release.

Branch is supporting her sophomore set, "Hotel Paper," which surfaced last June. The album is the follow-up to her breakthrough debut, "The Spirit Room," which has sold more than 2.5 million copies, according to a press release.

"Hotel Paper" features the single "Are You Happy Now?," which recently earned Branch a GRAMMY® nomination in the Best Female Rock Vocal Performance category.
