In an expected move, Ozzy Osbourne [ tickets ]--who is recovering from serious injuries he suffered last month in an all-terrain vehicle accident--has called off a long-scheduled 20-city tour of the U.K. that was to get underway next week.

Osbourne suffered eight broken ribs, a broken collarbone and a cracked vertebra in his neck in the Dec. 8 accident, which occurred while he was riding an ATV on his property in Buckinghamshire, England.

"I am deeply disappointed, but it's out of my control," Osbourne said in a press release. "Right now I need to concentrate on my recovery and unfortunately this is something I cannot rush."

The U.K tour was previously rescheduled from October, when it was called off while Osbourne underwent medical tests for tremors.

The second season of the hit MTV series "Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica" debuts on Jan 21 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. According to a press release, this season "picks up at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City where Nick [Lachey] and Jessica [Simpson] celebrate their first anniversary, only to find their quiet getaway interrupted by an Oktoberfest celebration."

Meanwhile, a new MTV series dubbed "'Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave," which documents the married lives of Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro [ tickets ] and Carmen Electra, will debut at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Patty Loveless, Vince Gill, Rosanne Cash, Lucinda Williams, Earl Scruggs, Sam Bush Band, Etta Baker, Bela Fleck & Edgar Meyer, Nickel Creek and Gillian Welch are on the bill for the 2004 edition of MerleFest, set for April 29-May 2 at Wilkesboro, NC's Wilkes Community College.

According to organizers, MerleFest drew 4,000 people when it debuted in 1988, and 36,000 tickets were sold for last year's event.

Pink [ tickets ] will kick off her first world tour in Dublin next month. The pop singer has nailed down the itinerary for her European tour, and plans to announce U.S. dates "shortly," according to her website.

"Try This," Pink's latest album, arrived in stores last November.

Apple unveiled a smaller version of its popular iPod digital-music player this week. Dubbed the iPod mini and priced at $249, the device holds 1,000 songs, according to Apple, and is compatible with both Mac and Windows.

The company also released a new software application named GarageBand, which makes it possible for a Mac computer to function as a recording studio. Singer-songwriter John Mayer demonstrated the product during this week's Macworld Expo in San Francisco.
