John Mayer firms up busy tour schedule for February, March
Singer-songwriter John Mayer, who is currently taking a break after touring extensively in late 2003, makes another swing through North America beginning in mid-February.
The North American jaunt will follow stops set for late January and early February in Japan, Ireland and Great Britain.
Maroon 5 opens most dates from Feb. 14 through March 7, after which Guster takes over the support slot. Details are available at Mayer's official website.
Mayer is on the road behind his second major-label album, "Heavier Things," which surfaced in early September and debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart. The set features the single "Bigger Than My Body."
A new Mayer EP titled "As Is, Volume 1," which features six tracks that were recorded during Mayer's November 2003 tour, are being sold exclusively via Apple's iTunes music store.
Last year, Mayer won the Best Male Pop Vocal Performance GRAMMY® for the "Room For Squares track "Your Body Is a Wonderland."
