Two weeks after he was seriously injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident, Ozzy Osbourne [ tickets ] has been moved from intensive care.

The rocker has been released from Wexham Park Hospital in Slough, England--where he underwent surgery and began his recovery--and has entered a private clinic, according to a press release.

"The Osbourne family are very happy that Ozzy has been allowed out of the Intensive Care Unit for Christmas and would like to thank everyone for their kind support, well wishes and prayers," said the statement. "They would also like to thank all the staff at Wexham Park Hospital for the outstanding care and treatment that Ozzy has received since his arrival."

Osbourne suffered eight broken ribs, a broken collarbone and a cracked vertebra in his neck in a Dec. 8 accident, which occurred while he was riding an ATV on his property in Buckinghamshire, England.

During emergency surgery that same day, doctors restored circulation to Osbourne's left arm, which was damaged by pressure from his broken collarbone. Osbourne was also placed on a ventilator for about one week..

Osbourne's wife, Sharon, told ITV television last week that it will probably take six months for Ozzy to recover from the injuries.
