David Bowie [ tickets ], who is battling the flu, has again pushed back the opening of his North American tour. Bowie's Friday (12/12) show at Toronto's Air Canada Center is the latest to be postponed.

"David is slowly improving, and we are still hopeful that Montreal will go ahead on Saturday (12/13)," said a statement posted on Bowie's official website. "We can only judge these things day-to-day, and if there is any change in plan, we'll let you know the moment we find out."

Bowie's North American tour was scheduled to get underway last week in Atlantic City, NJ, but his illness forced the postponement of that show and now four others.

Bobby Brown [ tickets ] reportedly was charged with battery on Wednesday (12/10) for allegedly hitting his wife, Whitney Houston, over the weekend. He turned himself in to Fulton County officials, and left a short time later with Houston, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Bon Jovi [ tickets ] will ring in 2004 with a New Year's Eve performance dubbed "Bon Jovi: Full House, The Concert from the Boardwalk," which will air on Pay Per View.

The show is being billed as "the only televised opportunity" to see the band perform songs live from its new album, "This Left Feels Right--Greatest Hits with a Twist." The 88-minute show will be preceded by a half-hour of behind-the-scenes footage.

The U.S. Secret Service reportedly has found that Eminem [ tickets ] isn't a threat to the President. The rapper was investigated after an unpublished song surfaced on the Internet that contains the line "I'd rather see the president dead."

Rap trailblazer Erick Sermon [ tickets ] has signed to Universal/Motown Records, and is expected to release his debut CD for the label in the spring of 2004, according to a press release.
