Briefly: Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, Don Gibson, Michael Kamen
The WB television network will broadcast the Christina Aguilera concert special "Stripped ... Live in the U.K.," on Nov. 30.
The show, which will be released on DVD on Jan. 13, was taped at London's Wembley Arena earlier this month.
The sophomore album from Alicia Keys , dubbed "The Diary of Alicia Keys," is scheduled to hit stores on Dec. 10.
The album features guest vocals from rappers Nas and Rakim, according to J Records.
"The Black Album," which rapper Jay-Z says is his last, sold about 463,000 copies during its first week in stores, and will top the forthcoming Billboard 200 album chart. Tupac Shakur's eighth posthumous album, "Resurrection," sold about 430,000 copies to land at No. 2.
"Beg for Mercy," the debut from 50 Cent's G Unit crew, debuts at No. 3. The Jay-Z and G Unit albums were both issued on Friday (11/14), giving them three fewer days on shelves than the week's other new releases.
Rounding out the Top 5 are Josh Groban's "Closer" and Toby Keith's "Shock'N Y'all, last week's No. 1 album.
Don Gibson , who wrote country standards including "I Can't Stop Loving You" and "Oh Lonesome Me," reportedly died of natural causes in Nashville on Monday (11/17). He was 75. Gibson was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2001.
Michael Kamen , a composer who collaborated with Metallica, Queen and David Bowie, died on Tuesday (11/19) at age 55. He had multiple sclerosis.
