Hilary Duff [ tickets ], who next week launches a U.S. tour that backs her debut solo album, has tacked a new batch of dates onto the run.

The teen-actress-turned-pop-star is scheduled to kick things off with a Nov. 17 performance in Phoenix, and is now due to remain on the road until at least mid-December. The newly added December shows largely comprise holiday-themed radio-station festivals. Details appear in the itinerary below.

On the eve of her tour launch, Duff will perform at the American Music Awards, which airs on ABC on Nov. 16. She'll also turn up on the tube again on Thanksgiving Day when she appears in New York City's annual Macy's Day Parade, which airs on NBC.

Duff released her first album of original material, "Metamorphosis," in late August. The set, which spawned the No. 1 hit "So Yesterday," debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 album chart, and rose to No. 1 during its second week out.

Earlier this year, Disney released its motion-picture version of "Lizzie McGuire," in which Duff's character travels abroad and is mistaken for a famous singer. Duff also co-starred in this summer's "Agent Cody Banks."

Duff made her recording debut on the 2002 "Lizzie McGuire" television-show soundtrack, for which she cut the single "I Can't Wait." She also released a collection of holiday covers later that same year.
