Briefly: Jay-Z, 50 Cent, MTV Europe Awards, Face to Face, Sony-BMG

Rapper Jay-Z has pushed up the release date for his new CD, "The Black Album," from Nov. 28 to Nov. 14 after the completed album was found online.

"Due to individuals illegally distributing my album, I have no choice but to move the release date of 'The Black Album,'" the rapper said in a statement. "I have made sure that my album is available at a lower price for my fans. In turn, I hope my fans will support me and Roc-A-Fella Records and buy my final release in an appropriate way, either via a retail store or a legitimate digital distribution site."

"The Black Album" is being billed as Jay-Z's final release. It features production by Rick Rubin, Eminem, Kanye West, The Neptunes and Just Blaze.

The street date for "Beg for Mercy," from rapper 50 Cent 's G Unit crew, has been moved up four days to Nov. 14 due to "bootlegging, piracy and overall demand."

"What can you expect when you're the hottest rapper around?" a none-too-modest 50 Cent said in a statement. "The streets are used to gettin' my music the unconventional way. So if they want it why not give 'em the real deal as soon as you can. Why make 'em wait?"
