Fuel fills the tanks with more tour dates
With its new album now in stores, Fuel extends its in-progress road trip into late 2004.
The group, which kicked off the outing in late September, has scheduled additional club and college shows that run through the end of November.
The jaunt supports Fuel's Sept. 23 release, "Natural Selection," which features a dozen new tracks, including the group's latest single, "Falls On Me." Michael Beinhorn (Ozzy Ozbourne, Korn, Soundgarden) and Fuel guitarist and chief-songwriter Carl Bell co-produced the album, while Andy Wallace (Foo Fighters, Korn, Nirvana) mixed the set.
"Coming into this record, our goals were to show how much this band has progressed and avoid repeating the past," Bell said in statement. "We wanted to refine what we do best as a band and give ourselves room to branch out in different directions."
"Natural Selection" is the follow-up to Fuel's multi-platinum sophomore effort, 2000's "Something Like Human," and 1998's "Sunburn." Epic Records, on the same day that it released "Natural Selection," also issued expanded editions of "Something Like Human" and "Sunburn," both of which feature bonus tracks not found on the original versions.
