Briefly: Pink Floyd, Run-D.M.C., Vibe Awards, Supergrass, Annie Leibovitz

The 1972 Pink Floyd concert-film "Live at Pompeii" will be issued on DVD on Oct. 21. In addition to the 60-minute theatrical version of the film, a 91-minute director's cut by original director Adrian Maben will also be included, along with a new documentary.

A two-disc CD-and-DVD Run-D.M.C. retrospective dubbed "Ultimate Run-D.M.C." is scheduled to arrive in stores on Oct. 28, according to Arista Records.

The CD features 18 songs issued from 1983 through 1998, including b-sides and live material. The DVD houses 14 music videos and a mini-documentary on the group's long-time label Profile Records.

Pharrell Williams picked up five nominations, leading the field for the inaugural Vibe Awards, which will be handed out on Nov. 20 in Santa Monica, CA. Beyonce and 50 Cent are up for two awards each, and Sean Paul, Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z are vying for three.

Queen Latifah will host the awards ceremony, which will air as a two-hour special on UPN on Nov. 21.

Supergrass has canceled all of its upcoming U.S. dates--including two support dates for Radiohead--due to "personal reasons," the band announced.

Photographer Annie Liebovitz's new 60-plus portrait exhibition, "American Music," will premiere at Seattle's Experience Music Project from Nov. 8 through Jan. 19.

The exhibit coincides with the publication of Leibovitz's new book of the same name, scheduled for release in November 2003. Her subjects include B.B. King, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Bruce Springsteen, Pete Seeger, Etta James, Dolly Parton, Bob Dylan, Eminem, Dr. Dre and The White Stripes.
