KISS, Aerosmith to finish the year on the road together

With attendance numbers continuing to mount throughout North America, fellow rockers KISS and Aerosmith have extended their co-headlining tour through the end of the year.
Tickets for most of the upcoming shows are already on the market, and tickets for many just-announced dates will go on sale on Saturday (10/11), according to promoters.
Both bands are offering special ticket packages for stops throughout the tour. Details are posted at Aerosmith's fan club website and at KISS's official website.
According to statistics compiled on the official KISS website, the tour played to nearly 145,000 fans in August alone, and grossed more than $10 million.
KISS recently released a two-disc live album and companion DVD titled "The KISS Symphony: Alive IV," which was recorded during its Feb. 28 performance with Australia's Melbourne Orchestra. KISS Records, the band's new Sanctuary Records imprint, issued the album and DVD.
Aerosmith released its latest studio set, "Just Push Play," in 2001, and plans to issue a blues-covers album early next year.
