Lisa Marie Presley goes solo on fall tour
Elvis progeny Lisa Marie Presley , who spent much of the summer opening shows for singer-songwriter Chris Isaak, sets out on her own headlining run in September.
The jaunt kicks off in Las Vegas on Sept. 13, and currently stretches into early October. Shows are booked into nightclubs and theaters, and include stops at a number of House of Blues clubs.
Presley also has a pair of Midwestern state-fair appearances set for Monday (8/11) and Tuesday (8/12).
The outing backs Presley's first album, "To Whom It May Concern," which surfaced in May. The set sold more than 140,000 copies during its first week out, and debuted at No. 5 debut on the Billboard 200 album chart.
Last month, the Recording Industry Association of America certified the album gold, symbolizing U.S. shipment of 500,000 copies.
Presley's website features streaming samples of the "To Whom It May Concern" tracks "S.O.B.," "Lights Out" and "Nobody Noticed It," as well video streams of the "Lights Out" and recently released "Sinking In" music videos.
Videos posted at the site also include live performances and documentary footage taped in Europe, New York City and Japan.
