Lonestar winding up chart-topping summer at the fairgrounds
With an album and single just beginning to retreat from their respective reigns at the top of sales and airplay charts, Lonestar heads into the home stretch of their summer tour with a string of West Coast dates in August.
The country quartet has been on the road for the better part of the year to support the June release of "From There to Here: Greatest Hits." The album and it's leadoff track, "My Front Porch Looking In," rose to the #1 slot on Billboard's country album and singles charts and both currently reside in the top five.
The next song that the group will release to radio will be a cover of Marc Cohn's "Walking in Memphis," which the band says it's played in concert for years but just recently got around to recording to round out the "Hits" collection.
August tour dates kick off in Lemoore, CA, with the tour currently scheduled to wrap up on Sept. 27 at Michigan's Hillsdale County Fairgrounds.
