Relient K heads up 'Everybody Wants to Rule the World' tour

Christian punk-pop act Relient K tops the bill of this fall's "Everybody Wants to Rule the World Tour," which also features Anberlin and Number One Gun.

The outing kicks off in late September and wraps up just before Thanksgiving. Prior to setting out on the run, Relient K will play a handful of summer festivals, dates for which are scattered from late July through mid-August.

Ohio-based Relient K is backing its third full-length, "Two Lefts Don't Make a Right ... But Three Do," which surfaced in March. The set sold about 30,000 copies during its first week out, and debuted at No. 38 on the Billboard 200 album chart.

"Two Lefts" features the single "Chap Stick, Chapped Lips, and Things Like Chemistry," the music video for which recently began airing on MTV2. The group shot the video--which is streaming at its website--in Los Angeles earlier this year with director Eliot Lester. The clip is set at a retirement home, and features "35 senior citizens, wheel chairs, walkers and moshing," according to the group's label, Gotee Records.

Anberlin released its debut, "Blueprints for the Black Market," in May on Seattle indie-label Tooth & Nail.

Number One Gun's first set, "Celebrate Mistakes," is due out on Aug. 12.
