Briefly: DMX, Lil' Kim, Suge Knight, Elvis Presley, Dido

Rapper DMX was arrested on Saturday (6/28) on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts and Nevis for allegedly using profanity during a Friday night concert. He was released on bail, and was expected to return to court on Monday.

A St. Kitts information minister told the Associated Press that "[t]here was a contract signed in which it was made very clear long before the arrival of the artists that there are laws in St. Kitts that do not take kindly to the use of indecent language on stage."

DMX reportedly denied signing such a contract.

About $250,000 worth of jewelry belonging to rapper Lil' Kim was recovered at New York's Kennedy International Airport on Friday (6/27), a week after it was reported missing. A United Airlines worker reportedly found the loot in a locker room for airport employees.

Death Row Records founder Marion "Suge" Knight was arrested on Friday evening (6/27) for an undisclosed parole violation, the Los Angeles Times reported. Earlier this year, he spent two months in jail for associating with a known gang member, another parole violation.

A new Elvis Presley best-of set, titled "Elvis 2nd to None," is scheduled for release on Oct. 7, according to RCA Records. The label hopes to build on he success of this year's "Elvis 30 #1 Hits," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart.

The new album will feature 30 Presley tracks, including DJ Paul Oakenfold's remix of the Presley B-side "Rubberneckin'."

Dido will release her sophomore album, "Life for Rent," on Sept. 30, according to Arista Records. Dido produced the set with her brother, Rollo of Faithless. The first single is titled "White Flag."
