Michael Bolton looks ahead to fall tour
So far, Bolton has lined up a round of dates that stretches from mid September into late October. The balladeer is booked primarily into theaters.
Bolton is currently splitting his time between recording and preparing for the upcoming tour, the singer has not nailed down a projected release date for his next album, according to his website.
The site alludes to the possibility the Bolton may release two albums before the end of the year, but provides no specifics.
Last April, Bolton released "Only a Woman Like You," his first album of original material in more than four years, and his inaugural effort for Jive Records. It debuted at No. 36 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
Taking a cue from his Jive Records labelmates, Bolton hired 'NSync and Backstreet Boys hitmakers Max Martin and Rami to work with him on "Only a Woman Like You." Producer Mutt Lange and his wife Shania Twain penned the title track.
