50 Cent's long-delayed album set for November release

50 Cent 's fourth major-label release, "Before I Self Destruct," is expected to be released Nov. 23, according to a press release. The album, which will come packaged with a DVD movie of the same title, originally was slated for a Dec. 9, 2008, release.

The performer, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, wrote directed and stars in the full-length film, which tells a coming-of-age story about an inner-city youth raised by a hardworking single mother.

As previously reported, Jackson also will include a second DVD featuring a documentary about his late mentor and friend Jam Master Jay. The documentary, which will be available for a limited time, is titled "Two Turntables and a Microphone: The Life and Death of Jam Master Jay."
