Sheryl Crow soaks up the sun with more summer concerts
Sheryl Crow keeps working the road behind last year's "C'mon, C'mon" with an ever-growing stretch of summer tour dates.
The latest leg of the singer-songwriter's outing is set to kick off in late June, and the itinerary includes a mix of headlining and festival dates.
Crow is also scheduled to open for Bon Jovi during the New Jersey rock band's July stops in East Troy, Wis.; Detroit; Foxboro, Mass.; and Philadelphia.
On June 28, Crow is due to perform at the Dale Earnhardt Tribute Concert at the Daytona International Speedway in Florida. Other acts appearing at that show include Alabama, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Hootie and the Blowfish, and the Goo Goo Dolls.
Crow's schedule currently wraps up on Aug. 10, when she and country duo Brooks & Dunn will co-headline Michigan's Jackson County Fair.
Crow's fourth album, "C'mon, C'mon," was released last April. Stevie Nicks, Don Henley, Lenny Kravitz, Emmylou Harris and Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines are among the guests who contributed to the CD, which marked Crow's first in nearly four years.
On Tuesday (5/6), Crow released via Apple Computer's new iTunes Music Store an exclusive remix of the "C'mon, C'mon" cut "Safe and Sound." According to Crow's website, the store will also feature a second exclusive song titled "Let's Get Free," but the track was not posted at press time.
In February, Crow won a Best Female Rock Vocal Performance GRAMMY® for the "C'mon, C'mon" track "Steve McQueen."
