Bon Jovi sets up summer leg of 'Bounce' tour

Bon Jovi , which later this month wraps up the first North American leg of its tour behind last year's "Bounce," will spend much of its summer taking another swing across the continent.

After heading to Europe for most of May and June, Jon Bon Jovi and company will kick off a new round of U.S. dates in mid-July. Stops are set primarily at amphitheaters and stadiums, and the group's itinerary currently stretches into early August.

The New Jersey rock outfit is due to wrap up the current leg of its U.S. road trip on April 19. Remaining dates include the band's April 12 performance in San Jose, Calif., a portion of which electronic retailer QVC will broadcast live. The broadcast will help promote a limited-edition, live Bon Jovi album and video, which only QVC will be selling.

Bon Jovi continues to tour behind last fall's "Bounce," which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart. It marks the highest chart debut in Bon Jovi's history.
