Bryan Adams Heads South Of The Canadian Border

Canadian export Bryan Adams has embarked on a U.S. spring tour in support of his 16-song greatest hits album "The Best of Me," which also includes a pair of new tunes.

Included in his American itinerary are several festival shows, two in Tennessee and one in Florida. Adams will continue touring into the summer, with six Japanese and five European dates scheduled thus far.

Famed for his anthem to the past, ''Summer of '69,'' and gentle ballads such as ''Everything I Do I Do It for You,'' Adams also recently released a book of his black-and-white photography titled ''Made in Canada.'' The book features his photos of Canadian women, and all proceeds from its sales will to go to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Adams won a Juno at a March 12 ceremony in Toronto, picking up the Canadian award show's nod for Best Male Artist.
