Foo Fighters start lining up tour dates

Armed with their newly acquired Best Hard Rock Performance GRAMMY ®, Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters head out in April to continue their tour behind last year's "One By One."

The hard-rocking quartet plans to hit arenas and amphitheaters during the jaunt. Only a handful of stops had been confirmed at press time, tickets for several of which are on sale now.

Grohl and company released "One By One," their fourth album, late last October. The album's first single, "All My Life," became an instant rock-radio hit.

On Tuesday (2/23) night, Grohl and bandmates Taylor Hawkins (drums), Chris Shiflett (guitar) and Nate Mendel (bass) were on hand at New York City's Madison Square Garden to accept the Best Hard Rock Performance GRAMMY for "All My Life."

During the GRAMMY ceremony, Grohl joined Bruce Springsteen, Steven Van Zandt (E Street Band), Elvis Costello and Tony Kanal (No Doubt) to pay tribute to recently deceased Clash frontman Joe Strummer by performing the Clash's "London Calling."

The Foo Fighters extend their New York City stay with a performance on Monday's (2/24) edition of "The Late Show with David Letterman."
