Though the tour doesn't get underway until June, the lineup and itinerary for the ninth edition of the Vans Warped Tour [ tickets ] is beginning to fall into place.

Among the acts that organizers confirmed this week are Rancid [ tickets ], AFI, the Used, the Distillers, Face to Face, Glassjaw, Less Than Jake, Finch, the Ataris, Taking Back Sunday, Dropkick Murphys, Mest, Suicide Machines, Andrew W.K., and the Unseen.

Additional acts scheduled to appear on select dates include Pennywise, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, the Damned, and Mad Caddies. Additional bands are listed at the official Warped Tour website.

Ten bands will be chosen to join the Warped Tour lineup for a day via a concert sponsored by A.P. Magazine. Details are available at the A.P. website.

The three-month outing will visit more than 40 North American cities.

In addition to its musical attractions, the Warped Tour typically features extreme-sports athletes and youth-oriented sponsor booths.

Organizers have released a tentative routing for the tour, which follows; venues and ticket on-sale information has not been announced.
