Juliana Theory, Something Corporate team for club tour

Something Corporate , the Juliana Theory and Vendetta Red--three bands that recently made the jump form independent labels to majors--will join forces for a club jaunt that gets underway later this month.

Southern California-based Something Corporate is backing its major-label debut, "Leaving Through the Window," which was released last May. Last month, the band filmed a video for its new single, "Punk Rock Princess," in Toronto, according to its official website.

The Group released its debut EP, "Audioboxer," on the indie label Drive-Thru in 2001. That release included the piano-driven ballad "Walkin' By."

The Juliana Theory, which formed in Western Pennsylvania in 1997, released two albums for the independent label Tooth & Nail between 1999 and 2000. The band's major-label debut, titled "Love," was originally scheduled to hit stores in October of 2002, but is now scheduled for release on Feb. 3, according to Epic Records.

Former Talking Head Jerry Harrison (Live, No Doubt) and lead vocalist Brett Detar co-produced the 14-track set.

Seattle-based Vendetta Red signed with Epic after releasing its second indie album, "White Knucked Substance," last year. Jerry Finn (Blink-182, Sum 41, Green Day) produced the band's major-label debut, titled "Between the Never and the Now," which will be in stores on June 24.
