Tori Amos Announces Tour Behind New Album

Alt-folk chanteuse Tori Amos has set dates in November and December for a North American tour.

Amos will be touring in the wake of her first release on the Epic label, "Scarlet's Walk," due October 29. Her minimalist backup will consist of bass by Jon Evans and percussion by Matt Chamberlain.

Jam-oriented songwriter Howie Day will open for Amos. Day is touring in support of summer 2002 re-release "Australia" (Epic), which has gained a loyal collegiate audience.
