Beth Orton Back on the Road in Support of New Album

British indie-pop songstress Beth Orton , who recently finished a mini-tour of North America, will kick off a one-month tour July 28 with a free show in New York’s Central Park.

The tour will conclude Aug. 22 in Los Angeles. Orton will be touring in support of her new album, "Daybreaker" (Heavenly/Astralwerks), which has a release date of July 30. Her last album, the critically acclaimed "Central Reservation" (Arista), was released in 1999.

Ryan Adams , the Chemical Brothers, Johnny Marr, Emmylou Harris and Everything But the Girl's Ben Watt are among the artists who worked on the album.
