David Bowie and Busta Rhymes top Moby's Area2 Festival

Legendary pop chameleon David Bowie and hip-hop heavyweight Busta Rhymes will co-headline Moby 's traveling festival, Area2, which is scheduled to begin July 28 in Washington, D.C.

Electronica artists Carl Cox, John Digweed, DJ Tiesto, the Avalanches, DJ Dan, DJ Tim Skinner and Moby himself are also on the bill, with more performers to be announced soon. Acts are expected to play on two stages.

Incubus, the Roots, Nelly Furtado and Paul Oakenfold were among the artists who played the inaugural Area--dubbed Area:One--tour last summer.

Area2 won't visit as many cities as its predecessor. On his official website, Moby writes, "Area2 will be fairly short this year, but I will be going just about everywhere that Area2 doesn't go."

Moby's latest album, "18" (V2), is scheduled to be released on May 14.
