Jackson Browne plans intimate acoustic tour
Singer-songwriter Jackson Browne kicks off a month-long acoustic tour May 5 in Concord, N.H. Browne launched a similar tour in 2000.
"Looking East" (Elektra), Browne's last studio album, was released in 1996. Billboard reports that the singer is working on an album of new material, but that no further details have been released.
The tour is expected to close June 1 at the Appel Farm Art & Music Festival in Elmer N.J. Jonatha Brooke, Kelly Jo Phelps, Guy Davis, and Nerissa and Katryna Neilds are among the other performers on the bill.
