Rapper Nas sets dates to back 'Stillmatic'
Dates are beginning to emerge for rapper Nas ’ tour behind his latest album, “Stillmatic.” The itinerary currently focuses on the Midwest and South.
Nas’ album, “Stillmatic” (Columbia), features guest appearances by Az (“The Flyest”) and Mary J. Blige (“Braveheart Party”). It includes lyrical jabs at rapper Jay-Z, with whom he has been sparring via music.
The platinum-selling “Stillmatic” sits at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 chart and at No. 2 on the magazine’s Top R&B/Hip-Hip album chart. The album is the follow-up to 1999’s “Nastradamus,” which sold more than 2 million copies.
