"Big Band Rhythm & Blues," the forthcoming album from former Squeeze keyboardist Jools Holland, will feature the track "Horse to the Water," the last song recorded by George Harrison . The album will be released in North America on Jan. 8, according to Rhino Records.

The song was co-written by Harrison and his son Dhani.

"Big Band Rhythm & Blues" also features appearances from Sting, Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, Van Morrison, Steve Winwood and others. It was released in the U.K. last month, and debuted at No. 11 on that country's album chart.

Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots pleaded guilty on a domestic battery charge on Wednesday (12/19), but the charge will be dismissed if he has no more run-ins with the law for six months and he completes 26 counseling sessions. Weiland and his wife got into a fight at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas last month.

Pioneering rap act the Sugar Hill Gang, known for its 1979 hit "Rapper's Delight," was awarded a $3 million settlement in a U.S. District Court in New York last week after successfully suing Snapple Beverage Corp., according to published reports. The group successfully argued in its lawsuit, which was filed in 1999, that Snapple used audio and video footage of the group in an advertisement without the group's consent.

NME.com reported that Ryan Adams and Starsailor frontman James Walsh "are set to collaborate on a future project."

After seven years together, Boston rock band Orbit is splitting. The band's final performance will be in Burlington, Vt., on New Year's Eve.

Denver billionaire Philip Anschutz' company, Anschutz Entertainment Group, plans to turn London's Millennium Dome into a state-of-the-art arena for sports and entertainment, Variety reported. The dome was built to celebrate the millennium.
