Aerosmith cancels three shows due to illness

Aerosmith called off a show at Kansas City's Kemper Arena on Thursday (12/13) due to an unspecified illness. Saturday's (12/15) scheduled performance in Moline, Ill., has also been called off, as has Monday's show (12/17) in Cleveland.

None of the dates will be rescheduled "due to previous touring commitments," promoters said in a press release. Refunds are available at the point of purchase.

Several other cancellations have marred Aerosmith's tour in recent months. A Dec. 1 show in Birmingham, Ala., was scrapped when a giant video screen fell from the venue ceiling while the band's crew was setting up the stage for that night's performance. Early last month, the group's tour was plagued with a spate of cancellations when singer Steven Tyler fell ill.
