Reba McEntire will host the 20th annual "Christmas in Washington" event, to be held on Dec. 9 at Washington, D.C.'s National Building Museum. Tony Bennett, Charlotte Church and Mandy Moore will be among the other performers. The event will benefit the Children's National Medical Center, and will air on the TNT cable network on Dec. 16.
According to the Associated Press, a New York appeals court ruled on Tuesday (11/13) that '60s girl group the Ronettes "was paid next to nothing" while their producer/manger Phil Spector "earned millions at their expense," and ordered Spector to pay the Ronettes' members--Veronica "Ronnie" Bennett Spector Greenfield, her sister Estelle Bennett and their cousin Nedra Talley Ross--about $3 million.
The Ronettes ' biggest hit was "Be My Baby."
Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS will make a Tuesday (11/20) in-store appearance at Tower Records on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. The event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Pacific Time. According to a press release, "Priority wristbands for the autograph line will go to those purchasing the new KISS box set."
Creed will perform during the halftime show of the annual Thanksgiving Day Dallas Cowboys football game at Texas Stadium in Irving. The band's album "Weathered" (Wind-Up) is due in stores on Nov. 20.

"A Walk to Remember, a Warner Bros. film starring teen pop star Mandy Moore, is set for release on Jan. 25. The soundtrack--which features four Moore tracks--is scheduled to hit stores on Jan. 15.
