U2 [ tickets ] has added eight new dates to its Elevation 2001 Tour, and tickets for six of the shows will go on sale on Saturday (11/10). Previously set to wrap up the outing in Los Angeles on Nov. 19, U2 will now continue on to Sacramento, Calif., Phoenix, Dallas, Kansas City, St. Louis, Atlanta, Tampa and Miami.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Eastern Time in Atlanta and at 10 a.m. Central Time in St. Louis and Kansas City. A noon Central Time on-sale time has been set in Dallas. Meanwhile, fans in Phoenix can purchase tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Mountain Time.

Tickets for the tour's two new Florida stops will go on sale next week.

Canadian pop act Barenaked Ladies [ tickets ] have announced a New Year's Eve show at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Central Time on Saturday (11/10).

In other BNL news, the band will perform as part of three radio festivals. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday (11/9) for Santapalooza in Norfolk, Va.; 5 p.m. Central Time on Friday (11/9) for the Mix 93.3 Jingle Jam in Kansas City; and 10 a.m. Saturday (11/10) for "Kissmas" in Denver.

Slipknot [ tickets ] has lined up a slew of post-Pledge of Allegiance tour dates. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday (11/9) for its performance in Huntington, W.V., and 5 p.m. Central Time for its show in Kansas City.

Fans in Orlando, Fla., can purchase tickets beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday (11/10). At 10 a.m. Mountain Time on Saturday, tickets go on sale for Slipknot's show in Denver.
