'NSync, Bon Jovi and Harry Connick Jr. will be among the musical entertainment during the closing ceremonies of the 2001 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City.

Also scheduled is a duet from soprano Charlotte Church and singer Josh Groban. More than 4,000 cast members have been selected for the opening and closing ceremonies, according to organizers.

Beginning on Nov. 12, tickets--priced at $320 to $885--will be available via the official Salt Lake City Olympic Games website.

Eddie Vedder, Sarah McLachlan, Stereophonics, Paul Westerberg, the Wallflowers and the Black Crowes are among the artists who covered Beatles songs for the soundtrack to the film "I Am Sam," which is due on Dec. 28, Billboard reported. The film stars Sean Penn and Michelle Pfeiffer.

"Gameface," Master P's first album under a new distribution deal with Universal, is set for release on Dec. 18. In a press release, the rapper describes it as his most "family-oriented album." His son Lil' Romeo, and his brothers Silkk the Shocker and C are featured "heavily" throughout the album.

The FDA has approved research into the drug Ecstasy's use in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder, the Washington Post has reported. Ecstasy was criminalized in 1985.
