Charts: DMX claims top spot, Incubus and DMB join Top 10

DMX 's "The Great Depression" will debut in the No. 1 spot on the forthcoming Billboard 200 album chart after selling about 440,000 copies, according to industry sources. That total was more than enough to keep the rapper's fourth album well ahead of Top 10 debuts from both Incubus and Dave Matthews Band .

With its chart-topping first-week performance, "The Great Depression" (Def Jam) joins the ranks of all three of DMX's previous releases, each of which also debuted at No. 1. The East Coast rapper's latest features the single "Who We Be."

Incubus' "Morning View" (Epic), debuts at No. 2 with about 266,000 copies sold, according to industry sources, thanks in part to the album's hit single, "Wish You Were Here." The song has found its way onto Billboard's Hot 100 Airplay chart, while the music video has been clocking in on MTV's Top 20 Videos chart.

New-age songstress Enya's "A Day Without Rain" (Reprise), which was recently catapulted into the Top 10 courtesy of the post-Sept. 11 hit "Only Time," dips to No. 3 this week after spending the previous two weeks at No. 2.

Following at No. 4 is last week's No. 1 entry, "God Bless America" (Columbia), a compilation of patriotic songs sung by artists that include Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Bob Dylan, Gloria Estefan, Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen and others. A portion of the album's proceeds are being directed to the Twin Towers Fund, a relief fund formed to benefit the families of rescue workers killed in the Sept 11 attacks.

Ja Rule's "Pain Is Love" (Def Jam), which debuted at No. 1 two weeks back, slips to No. 5 , and is followed by the No. 6 debut of Dave Matthews Band's "Live in Chicago 12/19/98" (RCA).

Nickelback's "Silver Side Up" (Roadrunner) slides down two spots to No. 7, and Linkin Park's "Hybrid Theory" is down one notch to No. 8.

Closing out the Top 10 are Usher's "8701" (Arista) at No. 9 for the third consecutive week, and the "Totally Hits 2001" (Arista)compilation--which features previously released hits from O-Town, Missy Elliott and Usher--down four spots to No. 10.

Debuts outside of the Top 10 include Reba McEntire's "Greatest Hits Vol. III" (MCA Nashville) at No. 18, Bush's "Golden State" (Atlantic) at No. 22, Snoop Doggy Dogg's "Death Row's Greatest Hits" (Priority) at No. 28, Enigma's "LSD: Love Sensuality Devotion" (Virgin) at No. 29, the "Now That's What l Call Christmas" (Universal) compilation at No. 30, Dilated Peoples "Expansion Team" (Capitol) at No. 36, C-Murder's "C-P-3.com" (Priority) at No. 45 and the Cranberries' "Wake Up and Smell the Coffee" (MCA) at No. 46.
