Ozzy Osbourne and Rob Zombie launch Merry Mayhem tour

In an event befitting of Halloween night, Ozzy Osbourne will kick off his Merry Mayhem tour with Rob Zombie this evening in Arizona. The outing also features fellow metal acts Mudvayne , Soil and Onesidezero.

Tickets for most of the tour's stops are on sale now, with tickets to the remaining dates set for release during the next two Saturdays (11/3, 11/10). Details appear in the itinerary below.

Osbourne is touring in support of his recently released album "Down to Earth," which features the hit single "Gets Me Through." The album, which debuted at No. 4 on the latest Billboard 200 album chart, will dip to No. 15 on the chart's next edition, according to industry sources.

Zombie is poised drop his second solo effort, "The Sinister Urge" (Geffen), on Nov. 13. The video for "Feel So Numb," the album's first single, recently premiered on MTV. Shot after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, the video features the band performing in front of a giant American flag on instruments emblazoned with stars and stripes.

Mudvayne, which toured with Osbourne on this summer's Ozzfest outing, is set to re-release its 1997 indie-label debut "Kill, I Oughta," under the new name "Beginning of All Things to End" (Epic) on Nov. 20, according to the group's official website. The group's major-label debut, "L.D. 50" (Epic), was released last year.

Soil, which will occupy the tour's opening slot from Halloween through Dec. 6, released its second full-length, "Scars" (J Records), last month.

Following Soil's departure, Onesidezero will take over the opening slot until the tour's New Year's Eve finale. The group plans to release its major-label debut, "Is This Room Getting Smaller" (Warner Bros.), on Nov. 20.
