Fuel plots headlining tour
While wrapping up its tour with Aerosmith, Fuel has announced a string of headlining dates in support of its sophomore effort, "Something Like Human."
Fuel will begin its theater tour on Oct. 18, with Saliva and Breaking Point opening. In mid-November, Fuel will perform a handful of shows with Sevendust and Nonpoint .
Fuel's "Something Like Human" (Epic) has spawned two hits--"Bad Day" and "Hemorrhage." The platinum-selling record sits at No. 59 on the Billboard 200 album chart. It is the follow-up to Fuel's equally successful debut, "Sunburn."
Saliva, touring in support of its debut, "Every Six Seconds" (Island/Def Jam), will also appear on Fox's "NFL Under the Helmet" at noon Eastern Time on Sept. 29. Meanwhile, Memphis-based Breaking Point recently wrapped up recording its debut for Wind-Up Records, "Coming of Age," due on Sept. 25.
Sevendust has two new releases: the DVD "Retrospect," which came out on Sept. 11, and a new CD, "Animosity," due in stores on Nov. 13. Ozzfest veteran Nonpoint is pushing "Statement" (MCA).
