Jay-Z to mount fall tour with Roc-A-Fella labelmates

Jay-Z will back his forthcoming album “The Blueprint”--which is due in stores next month--with a tour of U.S. theaters. The outing kicks off on Sept. 14, four days before the release of the new album.

The rapper’s upcoming jaunt will also feature support from some of his Roc-A-Fella Records labelmates, including Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek and others.

“I.Z.Z.O.,” the first single from “The Blueprint,” has risen to No. 5 on Billboard’s latest Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart. A streaming sample of the song’s music video can be viewed at Roc-A-Fella Records’ official website.

“The Blueprint” (Roc-A-Fella) comes less than one year after the release of “Roc la Familia: The Dynasty,” which surfaced last Halloween and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
