Built to Spill announces U.S. club tour
Boise, Idaho-born Built to Spill is heading out on an extensive East Coast tour in support of its new record, "Ancient Melodies of the Future."
The group kicks off its jaunt with two-night-stands in Minneapolis and Chicago. Multiple nights are frequent throughout Built to Spill's tour, with back-to-back shows also scheduled in Washington, D.C., Boston, New York and Atlanta.
"Ancient Melodies of the Future" (Warner Bros.) is the band's first studio record since 1999's "Keep It Like a Secret" (Warner Bros.) and its seventh overall. Built to Spill is singer-songwriter-guitarist Doug Martsch, bassist Brett Nelson and drummer Scott Plouf.
