Uberzone, more dates added to the Crystal Method's 'Tweekend'
update: California-based Uberzone will join the Crystal Method on its just-launched Seven Day Tweekend tour, and the tour's itinerary has been expanded through September.
Uberzone--the alias of electronic artist Timothy Wiles (who's also known as Q)--will be joined by Davey Dave on the tour. Uberzone's debut album, "Faith in the Future," features collaborations with Ken Jordan of the Crystal Method, Beenie Man, Lida Husik, Afrika Bambaataa and Soulsonic Force, Page Hamilton and Rennie Pilgrem. The album is scheduled for release on Aug. 7, according to Astralwerks records.
"Tweekend," the sophomore album from electronic music duo the Crystal Method, will be in stores on Tuesday (7/31). It comes four years after the Crystal Method's debut, "Vegas."
Scott Kirkland and Ken Jordan spent two years on the road behind "Vegas," and spent much of the rest of their time at the Bomb Shelter, a studio they built in a Glendale, Calif., garage, at work on the new album, according to the band's label biography.
