Better Than Ezra supports album release with U.S. tour
Better Than Ezra has scheduled a tour around the release of its fourth album, "Closer," due in stores on Aug. 7.
The jaunt begins on July 28 in Omaha, Neb., and is scheduled to run at least through the end of October. Two festivals, located in Massachusetts and Alabama, are included in the itinerary.
"Closer" (Beyond), the band’s first album since being dropped by Elektra Records, was produced by Brad Wood (Liz Phair, Smashing Pumpkins) and Ethan Allen (Patty Griffin, Tricky). The first single, "Extra Ordinary," went to radio in June.
