Stevie Nicks postpones two concerts due to illness
Stevie Nicks has fallen ill, and has subsequently postponed her Tuesday and Wednesday night (7/24 and 7/25) concerts in Virginia and North Carolina. Make-up dates have not been announced, but the shows will be rescheduled, according to organizers.
Nicks was scheduled to perform in Virginia Beach, Va., on Tuesday night (7/24) and in Raleigh, N.C., on Wednesday night (7/25). Both venues have indicated that a rescheduled date for each performance will be announced soon, and that tickets for the original performance will be honored at the make-up date.
The nature of Nicks illness has not been specified. Her tour is expected to resume as scheduled on Friday night (7/27) in Charlotte, N.C.
Earlier this month, Nicks launched a tour in support of her early-May release, Trouble in Shangri-La (Reprise). The album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
