Counting Crows expand summer itinerary

emailCounting Crows have extended their summer tour, during which they plan to debut new material. The tour was originally scheduled to run through July 18, but it now spans to Sept. 7.
Tickets to several shows are going on sale via the Internet before they are available through traditional venues. Details about the Internet pre-sales are available at the Counting Crows official website.
Counting Crows are playing wineries and smaller venues, a stark contrast from the extensive, co-headlining jaunt it did last summer with the rock band Live.
According to its official website, Counting Crows will work out new songs on the road before recording them for the follow-up to 1999's "This Desert Life" (Interscope).
