Two AC/DC performances--one that was to take place on Tuesday (5/1) in Madison, Wis., and one scheduled for Wednesday (5/2) in Detroit--have been postponed because frontman Brian Johnson is suffering from throat problems, according to promoters. The band plans to reschedule the dates.
DJ Derrick May has been added to the Area: One tour lineup.

Monday's (4/30) Salon.com lead with a story on Clear Channel Communication, owner of the most radio stations in America. The story mentions a February event in Tampa, in which "WXTB morning man Todd Clem, who has the on-air handle 'Bubba the Love Sponge,' broadcast the killing of a live boar from the station's parking lot. WXTB posted pictures of the blood-soaked stunt on its Web site. It was the third time in a year that an animal was killed or tortured on-air at a Clear Channel station."
According the Associated Press, the Country Music Association (CMA) is planning a promotional campaign with this as the slogan:
- Country. Admit it. You love it.
So the CMA is adopting the technique of a drunk guy at a party trying to get a woman to admit that she likes his jokes.
We recommend these alternatives:
- Country: We Blame Radio.
Country: We'd Promote The Good Stuff If You Bastards Would Just Buy It.
Country: You Know, The One With All The Awards Shows.
