Madonna posts quick sell-out in London, adds five dates
Madonna , who recently unveiled plans to set out on her first tour since 1993, has scheduled five additional dates at London's Earl Court to follow her sold-out July 4 performance at the venue.
The new dates shows are scheduled for July 6, 7, 9, 10 and 12.
All 16,000 tickets to the July 4 concert sold out within 15 minutes, at prices ranging from $60 to $120, according to published reports.
Earlier this month, Madonna announced an 18-city tour of Europe and North America. The pop icon is touring in support of last year’s “Music,” which debuted at No. 1 on the album chart in late September.
