Vince Neil travels solo this spring

While Motley Crue takes a break, singer Vince Neil is heading out on a solo tour beginning on April 18 in St. Louis.

According to his management company, confirmed dates run through July 27, when Neil will perform as part of the Ionia Free Fair in Ionia, Mich. The lineup of Neils band has not yet been confirmed.

A spokesperson for the company added that Neil is hoping to ink a deal soon with a label to re-issue his first two solo albums, 1993s "Exposed" and 1995s "Carved in Stone," both of which were released by Warner Bros.

Motley Crue released its latest record, "New Tattoo" (Beyond), last June. It was the first record without drummer Tommy Lee.
