Unified Theory lines up 12 new dates
Keeping up its busy tour schedule, Unified Theory will head out on the next leg of its headlining U.S. road trip in mid-March. The Seattle-based act has been touring nonstop since last summer in support of its self-titled debut.
The group has been on a short break since wrapping up the western leg of its tour in San Diego on March 1. The outing resumes on March 17 at the annual South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival in Austin, Texas.
“Unified Theory” (3:33/Universal) hit stores last August, and features the singles “California” and “Wither.” The latter track hit radio stations in January, and both streaming and downloadable MP3 versions of the song are currently available on the band’s SXSW showcase page.
Former Blind Melon members Christopher Thorn (guitar) and Brad Smith (bass) formed Unified Theory in the late ‘90s with former Pearl Jam drummer Dave Krusen and former Celia Green singer Chris Shinn.
