Papa Roach, Orgy plan to 'Raid the Nation'
Grammy nominees Papa Roach have confirmed seven U.S. dates of its Raid the Nation tour with supporting acts Orgy and Alien Ant Farm .
Louisiana, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina are on the itinerary, which will include dates at least through April. Papa Roach played a handful of headlining dates in late 2000, but its last major U.S. tour was as a part of Limp Bizkit's Anger Management trek. The band is currently in Europe.
Orgy, whose latest single "Opticon" is featured on the soundtrack to the new film "Valentine," will headline its Vapor Transmission Tour from Feb. 20-March 16.
Alien Ant Farm, due to release "ANThology" on March 6, will open part of the Orgy tour. The band is the first to be signed to Papa Roach's vanity label, New Noize, distributed through DreamWorks.
Papa Roach is up for two Grammys--Best New Artist and Best Short Form Music Video. The latter nomination is for the Marcos Siega-directed video for "Broken Home." That song is the second single from Papa Roach's triple-platinum debut album, "Infest," which includes the hit single "Last Resort."
