Madonna and U2 will perform at this year's Grammys, the Recording Academy announced.

A Nebraska couple is suing Ted Nugent . According to the Associated Press, the couple "paid $1,535 during an eBay Internet auction for unrestricted backstage passes" to a Nugent concert, as well as "front-row concert seats and dinner with Nugent." Instead, the suit claims, backstage access was limited, Nugent didn't join them and their seats were more than twenty rows back.

This year's Noise Pop Festival in San Francisco will take place from Feb. 27 to March 4, and will include Superchunk , Girls Against Boys and Grandaddy .

Courtney Taylor of the Dandy Warhols has a short film at this year's Sundance festival, Alternative Press reported.

Concert promotions giant SFX Entertainment has acquired Evening Star Productions, the leading promoter in Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico. SFX claims it currently owns, operates and/or exclusively books 130 live entertainment venues, including 44 amphitheaters in the U.S.
