Snoop Dogg readies for brief club tour
Snoop is scheduled to begin a string of five club dates on Dec. 20 in Boston, with subsequent stops set for Washington, D.C.; Dallas; and Austin. The tour will conclude with a Dec. 30 show in Denver.
In addition to his upcoming club dates, Snoop will mark the Dec. 19 release of “The Last Meal” with an autograph signing at the Harlem, N.Y., HMV record store that same day from 5 to 7 p.m., according to Priority Records’ official “Tha Last Meal” website.
MTV will host an online listening party on Tuesday (12/19) beginning at 9:01 a.m.; that will feature a preview of all of the tracks from “The Last Meal,” as well as a video stream of the video for the album’s single “Snoop Dogg” and a free download of the track “Hennesey and Buddah” featuring Dr. Dre, according to MTV.com.
Several high-profile television appearances are also planned, including a Dec. 19 performance on BET and a Dec. 27 spot as the musical guest on CBS’s “The Late Show.”
Snoop’s first 2001 appearance will be a Jan. 4, online conference hosted by ARTISTdirect, according to the “Tha Last Meal” website.
A full tour in support of “Tha Last Meal” will begin early next year, a Snoop Dogg spokesperson said.
