Though Yahoo! announced on Monday (11/20) that tickets to all of the shows on the upcoming, Yahoo!-sponsored Weezer [ tickets ] tour would go on sale that day, as of 6 p.m. Pacific Time on Monday, tickets for most shows were still unavailable.

Last Thursday, Yahoo!'s Outloud website said that ticket sales for the 20-city tour were scheduled to begin on Friday (11/17). Two shows, in Chicago and Milwaukee, did go on sale that day.

On Saturday (11/19), Outloud announced that ticket sales for all remaining shows would actually begin on Nov. 27.

That date was again changed on Monday with the release of a press statement saying that ticket sales would commence today. However, at press time, only six of the remaining eighteen shows on the itinerary--Austin, Sunrise, Tampa, Denver, San Francisco and San Diego--had actually begun selling tickets through Ticketmaster.com, Startickets.com or Tickets.com. A tour spokesperson said late Monday that the remainder of the tour was expected to be on sale by the end of the day on Tuesday. However, a source at one of the unsold tour stops said Monday that contractual issues in some markets could delay ticket sales to at least next week, in part due to the short business week caused by the imminent holiday weekend.

According to Yahoo!, tickets will be exclusively available on the Internet through the end of the year.
